Not a single generation of Bahamas pigs has grown up in such conditions, so they are all excellent swimmers.
According to one of the local legends, pigs were brought to this Bahamas island by pirates. Planning to return to this paradise, the corsairs left the animals here as food for the future. But they did not return, but the pigs remained on the island and successfully settled down on it. According to another story, swimming pigs in the Bahamas were the result of a shipwreck off the coast of Big Island Kay, the only ones who survived. However, there is a more pragmatic story. It is likely that the pigs here appeared as a successful advertising move to attract tourists to these places.
There is no reliable history of the appearance of this lively sights of the Bahamas, and the existence of such around the world was found only in 2009 thanks to photographs of Eric Cheng. The photographer traveled on a yacht in the Bahamas area in order to get interesting photos of white sharks, and eventually found something more extraordinary, filming the best shots for the entire journey on the island of pigs. His fellow traveler Nadine made friends with these funny water animals so much that she even managed to swim next to them.
The pigs that inhabit the Big Major are impressive in their variety of colors (pink, dark brown, colorful), and their long stay in water makes them spotlessly clean. These floating pigs of the Bahamas are so fearless that they can easily climb aboard a boat or a boat and, as a domestic dog, demand that they be scratched behind the ear.
